Mosquitos are proven vectors of malaria, yellow fever, dengue and numerous other diseases.
This course reviews common mosquito families found in the United States. Upon successful completion of this course, the participants will be able to:
- Identify different mosquito families.
- Discuss the difference between the different mosquito families.
- Understand the mosquitoes’ life cycle, behavior, and habitats.
- Communicate and implement mosquito prevention and control measures.
This course is approved by the FDACS for a maximum of 2.5 Hours of CEU for the following Categories: Public Health Pest Control and Aquatic Pest Control. The course is online and available in both English and Spanish.
