This course focuses on understanding basic termite biology and characteristics in order to apply treatments, locate infestations, and problem solve challenging treatment situations. Labels are reviewed to help ensure applicators are exposed to different labels and how product information is conveyed for treatments.
Sample treatments are outlined using various products as examples to help in measuring the proper amount to use for treatments.
Tools and methods for drywood and subterranean termites are covered and reviewed to keep the applicator, environment and structure as less exposed to termiticides as possible.
This course is approved by the FDACS for a maximum of 2 Hours of CEU for the following Categories: Limited Certification Structural Pest Control, and Wood Destroying Organisms or for 4 CEU Hours for the Wood Treatment Category. The course is online and available in both English and Spanish.
