Turf and Ornamental Control reviews the various types of equipment used to apply pesticides and herbicides to control ornamental and turf pests.
This course is approved by the Washington State Department of Agriculture for Pesticide and SPI License Recertification credits.
This course is approved for 1 hour of either General or Weed hours (1 hour Max).
At the end of this course, participants will:
- Review calibration methods for various types of equipment to avoid under or over spraying.
- Practice calculating field measures and calibration examples.
- Review how to use spreaders and how to calculate pattern distribution.
- Review the care and maintenance of equipment to keep it in working condition.
